Tame the Mane | Review & Giveaway

The content of this post is sponsored by Spectrum Brands – but the thoughts and feelings are our own and we would not promote a brand or product that we didn’t personally approve of!

Do you have a child with long hair? Or with an unruly mane? If you answered yes to either (or both) of those questions, then you will want to continue to read! As the mother of two young girls (one with very curly hair!), the Remington Tame the Mane is a mom must have.

Spectrum Brands is headquartered right here in the Madison area (in Middleton, WI) and offers a broad portfolio of market-leading, well-known and widely trusted brands – including Remington. They’ve done a lot for our community, so it’s wonderful to be able to first hand share about a product that my family now uses (and loves!)

To be honest, I was a little skeptical about how this brush would work on my four year old’s curly (sometimes very tangly) hair. But I decided to give it a try and the rest is history. It worked. Like actually worked WELL! I was able to gently comb through her hair without making her squirm or scream – as usually is the case. The brush’s teeth rock back and forth while you brush to gently loosen knots and tangles from even the most unruly hair. The brush is battery operated so it can conveniently be used anywhere and is effective for both wet or dry hair. So you probably assume this brush is expensive, right? I was pleasantly surprised by the price tag – just under $20 and available online from Amazon or from Walmart – both with free shipping.

And today we are thrilled to be able to offer TWO lucky readers a chance to win a Remington Tame the Mane Electric Detangling Brush! Head to our Facebook page to enter (click here). If you don’t have Facebook, simply comment below and we will add you to the entries. Winners will be chosen at random using woobox.

Good luck!

I am surprised that it can be used on wet or dry hair. This should cut down on the time it takes to detangle hair. I’m looking forward to trying this out.

This would be perfect for my uncle and his daughter!! He has to get cancer treatments often and after those shots and all the chemo and pills they have him on he really doesn’t feel like dealing with his daughter’s horribly curly hair!! He is an only parent so its all up to him and this would make his life a little bit easier.
