This week a few girlfriends and I made a trip up to the Dells for an overnight getaway – a very rare chance to relax and recharge! We spent the afternoon at the spa and had an overnight at Sundara Inn & Spa (Ahh-MAZING!!!)The next morning we relaxed around Sundara again and then ventured out around town and made our way to the Outlets at the Dells. With fall just around the corner and back to school shopping in full force, it was a fantastic time to do some shopping with girlfriends!
What a lot of people don’t realize is just how easy of a drive it is from the Madison area to the Outlets. It takes me less than an hour from my house on the west side of Madison. The other thing that some may not realize is just how many awesome stores they have. There literally is something for everyone (and lots of great stores for kids with deep discounts!) My personal favorites for myself are JCrew, Apricot Lane, Express & Loft. My husband loves Nike, Under Armour, Banana Republic & Ralph Lauren. And we can’t forget the kids – if you have a pre-teen or teenager they have American Eagle, Aeropostale, Pac Sun & Maurices… and if you have younger children there is Old Navy, Carters, Osh Kosh, The Children’s Place & Gap Kids. There really is something for everyone – these are a just a few of my personal favorites, but they have around 60 stores in total!
Since you might like saving money just as much as we do – be sure to check out their website for current deals (EXTRA savings on the already discounted items!) The Outlets at the Dells have quickly become one of the go-to shopping destinations for my family.
Insider tip: Make a day of it by hitting up Knuckleheads or Devil’s Lake after you’ve shopped till you’ve dropped!
Or if you don’t have a full day to spend, leave Madison at 8am and spend a couple hours shopping and be back by lunch time – it’s that easy to get to!
