November means the holidays are here! And with meals to plan, guests to entertain, and family to ‘enjoy,’ the holidays can quickly go from joyful to stressful. At Festival Foods, they help take stress out of the picture with loads of ways to help with your Thanksgiving spread.
Their Deli puts together meals that feature everything from perfectly cooked, buttery birds to old-fashioned stuffing and real mashed potatoes. They also offer a variety of handmade Thanksgiving staples for any size gathering – from an intimate party of two to a downright feast for a group of 10.
Basically, they do all the work, you get all the glory!
You can choose a small dinner (serves 2-3), medium dinner (serves 4-5), or large dinner (serves 8-10) and you’ll receive a tender cooked turkey to suit your needs, old fashioned stuffing, real mashed potatoes and gravy, creamy green bean casserole, and cranberry fluff – all for under $100!
Need more fall favorites? Add a rich pumpkin pie, home style dinner rolls, and more for a small additional charge. Or bring home your Festival Foods deli favorites like Festival’s own potato salad, twice baked potatoes, or deviled eggs.
Don’t quite know what to do? That’s where their knowledgeable associates come in! They’ve got insights and information about wine and food pairings as well as food preparation tips and cooking tricks. Have questions? They’ve got answers. They were “talking turkey” live on Facebook on Thursday, Nov. 3. Head to their page to hear about the hard work behind their Thanksgiving meals as well as other helpful holiday food tips.
At Festival Foods, the holidays also highlight opportunities to give back to the communities that have given them so much. They love hosting the Salvation Army’s very recognizable Red Kettles in their lobbies throughout the holiday season. A wide range of their associates – from cart runners, baggers and cashiers to their President and CEO – love ringing bells every year at their stores.
November also gives us a chance to trot, Turkey Trot that is. Their annual Turkey Trot event, which features a 5-mile run, 2-mile walk and 2-mile dog jog, is in its 9th year, but it’s the first year in the city of Madison and we’re so excited! We’re especially excited about our special guest for the Madison event: Ron Dayne of Wisconsin football fame!
