It’s that time of year again! Time to start planning for preschool in the fall. Luckily in Madison, we truly do have some exceptional choices when it comes to education. And one of those exceptional choices is Kids Express Learning Center! Since several Madison Moms Blog team members have had very positive experiences with sending their little learners to KELC – we are pleased to be able to share more information with you all!
Kids Express has been providing four and five-year-old kindergarten and preschool programs to area children for over twenty years. Their mission to provide ‘Quality Education in a Rural Setting’ is realized through dedicated professional teachers (their teachers have 4 year degrees), sound curriculum, and outstanding enrichment programs conducted on their beautiful ten-acre campus. The first time I visited KELC, I was in awe of the setting. KELC is set on Prairie View Farm, a picturesque farmette on Madison’s west side. Their ten-acre property has pastures — home to a llama, sheep and goats, as well as a sports court, pond, forest and nature trails, a nature study bus, organic gardens, music studios, gyms, and beautiful, bright, well equipped classrooms.
In addition to the picturesque setting – KELC’s outstanding Literacy and Writing, Math, Social/Emotional Development curricula ensure the highest quality classroom learning experiences. KELC makes full use of its abundant resources and learning environments to support enrichment programs, such as Nature Studies, Organic Gardening, Art, Spanish, Music & Movement, Physical Education, as well as After School Programs for preschoolers and school-age children.
With a full-day schedule and exceptional child-to-teacher ratios, their nationally accredited program will prepare your child for future success. Kids Express Learning Center is committed to providing the highest quality care and early childhood learning experiences. In addition, they also have a private 4K program.

And some personal, authentic testimonials from MMB team members:
Here is what Andrea Groher has to say about KELC!
“We did research and toured several preschools in the area. When we visited Kids Express Learning Center, we both had the feeling that it was the right place for our family. Everyone we met was friendly, welcoming, and comforting (especially to a teary eyed mama). Being a little particular about things, I love that they are extremely organized and attentive to parentsʼ concerns.
KELC is committed to nurturing the whole child: mind, body and soul. It encourages and celebrates the natural curiosity of childhood and fosters a love of learning. I feel good knowing that my son is in an educational environment that reinforces the values that we are instilling in our child at home, and I couldnʼt be happier with our choice.”
“Kid’s Express is my favorite preschool in the Madison area. My daughters both have loved every minute of it. From the goats and other animals to gardening with Miss Georgine or learning about nature with Mr. Rich – KELC it is the complete package. I’m so impressed by love and care the owners have taken in every detail of the place and the education… they honestly care about every teacher and student. Lastly the teachers are top notch. In my experience they are kind of people you are happy to trust with your children because they truly love what they do!”
“I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and quality of care at Kids Express Learning Center. My daughter happily attended preschool and 4K there and now returns for Summer on the Farm. Their dedicated and caring staff pour their hearts into the kids in their classrooms and always exceed my expectations. They helped my daughter develop a love of learning, compassion for others, respect for herself and the environment, and a curiosity about her surroundings. Knowing that she’s receiving the best possible care and experience when I drop her off is priceless. I’m so thankful to have them in Madison and for everything they’ve done for our family.”
