Ah, New Year’s resolutions.
They range from small changes –”I’ll wash my face before bed every night!” – to those really big ones of the life-changing variety that can include everything from “I’m going to quit smoking,” to “I’m going to lose 20 pounds.”
Those especially lofty resolutions, however, don’t seem to stick around for very long. At Festival Foods, they want to help you make small changes that lead to healthy habits that lead to a better, healthier life. And they want to do it in a way that is approachable, friendly and manageable.

The team of Mealtime Mentors at Festival Foods are here to help you in a variety of ways – from deciding among products on their store shelves to coming up with easy-to-make, healthy and delicious recipes. And in their Madison store, they’ve got a newly expanded selection of organic fruits and vegetables. Keep an eye out on which produce item is at its peak each week by checking this site!
And you can meet Mealtime Mentor (and registered dietitian), Lauren in Madison this month! She will be in Madison Jan. 20-21 as part of the 2017 Well Expo! She’s excited to chat with folks visiting the 8th annual Madison Well Expo about everything from their unique store in Madison to some of her favorite go-to grocery store items to quick and delicious 20 Minute Meals.
Lauren also will be featured in a live broadcast via the Madison Moms Blog Facebook, giving tips on healthy eating and answering your questions on nutrition and specialty diets. That broadcast is set for 12:30 p.m. CST Friday, Jan. 20, but no need to worry if you miss it! You can catch it on repeat and you can send questions to the Mealtime Mentors team through this page.
