Our 1st Annual Cookies with Santa event was SO much fun! We are thankful for our gracious hosts – The Seventeenth Radish and our sponsor Madison Smile Solutions who made the event possible!
All attendees were able to get their photo taken with Santa by the talented Kortnee of Tumbling Sparrow Photography! The guests were given the digital download of their photos to use as they wish!
And it wouldn’t be COOKIES with Santa without the cookies…thank you to our friends at The Makery in Waunakee who generously provided the frosted sugar cookies for our event! These were almost too good to eat (almost…)! The Makery specializes in hand crafted treats that are made from scratch and baked to order – we HIGHLY recommend!
We wouldn’t think of hosting a Saturday morning event without plenty of coffee! Thank you to M-N-M Coffeehouse for providing plenty of coffee for our guests! We also had hot chocolate (with sprinkles, marshmallows and chocolate chips!)
We are thrilled to be so lucky to have Funny Faces at our family events – Tami is truly amazing and one of the best in the business! Talented, upbeat and fun! She painted a lot of adorable faces at our event! She also offers balloon sculpting & caricatures for birthday parties – we highly recommend her!
Spotlight Dance Academy is putting on a production of Frozen on December 19th! We had cast members Anna & Elsa on hand to play with the kids. They brightened the day of many kids and made a lot of little ones smile! We encourage you to check out the show – reference Madison Moms Blog and you will get special pricing (purchase an adult ticket – get a child ticket for just $5!)
The Seventeenth Radish is a children’s activity studio offering flexible drop off activities & hourly child care for children 6 months – 6 years old. Programming includes a fun variety of science, art, music, movement & play experiences that encourage social development, exploration and independence in a thoughtfully prepared environment. It’s equally fun & educational!
Madison Smile Solutions – a fantastic family dental center located on Madison’s west side provided fun color sheets & activities for kids, along with SMILE postcards (and plenty of toothbrushes, toothpaste ad dental swag!)
Jolly the Elf (aka Apple Annie) provided plenty of entertainment to guests as they waited in line to see Santa – she did lots of magic tricks!
We loved seeing kids write heart felt letters to Santa Claus – oh so sweet!
All in all it was a fantastic morning and we are thrilled to have been able to host so many families! This event did sell out in minutes and we will make it our goal to accommodate even more people at our next family event and for next year’s Santa event! Our goal is to ensure that those who attend have a wonderful experience and we will do our best to keep up with the demand! Thanks to all who joined us and to our gracious sponsors who helped make it possible!
Happy Holidays from all of us at Madison Moms Blog!
